This is the home of the 4th Derby (Derwent) Scout Group. We are situated in Derby and have been continuously running since 1908. This site will give you all the information that you need to know about the group, as well as an incite into some of the history of the group.

Are you ready for a new year full of Scouting?

We at the 4th are! Coming in this year are

many new ideas. New leaders, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts. We have the usual fundraising requirements such as the plant sale and gift aid. We are looking forward to another group camp this year, the last one at Calke Abbey(The Jim Lingard memorial camp) went down really well. Hopefully Leaders will get some training in so that other camps, activities can also take place

Coming this year. THE DERWENT GREEN! This is the book that has been so long in coming it seems like it has taken for ever. The main reasons for the delay in publishing is time! as always. It is now in its final stages and apart from a little editing and some photo's to add, we are hoping it will be at the publishers within the next 6 months!?
